In this workshop at Tudor Rose Patchwork, join Caroline in a sashiko workshop. Choose colours and fabrics for yourself or as a gift for a friend. Stitch a small, tall or medium bag to hold craft supplies, snacks on the go, cosmetics or whatever you fancy! Rice bags were one of the original sustainable shopping bags, taken to the store or market and used to carry rice home to the kitchen. Learn a little about Japanese culture, seasonal influences and hear about her experiences of living in Japan and learning from skilled craftspeople. While you are at Tudor Rose Patchwork, enjoy the delicious special lunchtime menu at their coffee shop, O For Coffee.
