FAQs and terms and conditions

One in a series of greetings cards designed by Caroline using inspiration from time spent living in Kobe, Japan. Taken from artwork created with hand carved stamps of iconic Japanese symbols.

The sakura, the flower of all cherry blossom species, is one of the things that Japan is world-famous for. Along with the chrysanthemum, the sakura is the national flower. Locals and tourists all flock to view the blossoms during their short and stunning flowering time. hanami is the Japanese word for ‘flower viewing’ and picnicking and celebrating under the blossom trees. sakura hanami occurs between late March and early May, depending on the area of the country, the wind, rain and sunshine.
