One in a series of greetings cards designed by Caroline using inspiration from time spent living in Kobe, Japan. Taken from artwork created with hand carved stamps of iconic Japanese symbols.

Koi (literally translating into English as ‘carp’) have a long history of association with Japan and China. This well-loved fish can live for 50 years or more if kept in their preferred environment and so are instantly associated with long life and prosperity. They are also thought to bring good fortune, encourage ambition and nurture perseverence.
