I have always loved cherries... black or deep red with beautiful shiny skins, juicy sweet flesh and the challenge of removing the stone elegantly. When I am alone this is no trouble but with guests, it needs a better solution. Why it has taken me so long to buy a cherry-stoner I do not know, but this year I did. A great gadget, essential in cherry season. Now I can enjoy cherries with friends at my house and not feel embarrassed. Next I must try the plum-stoner I saw in the department store...
