One in a series of greetings cards designed by Caroline using inspiration from time spent living in Regensburg, Germany. Taken from artwork created with hand carved stamps of iconic Bavarian symbols.
After a full summer of creeping up the lines and soaking up all the sunshine, autumn is the time to harvest the hops. In Bavaria I know that this is a very special time of year, with each village, town and city celebrating the harvest in its own way. Brewing beer is often a family business passed down through the generations and many breweries will use the pure and ancient recipe of just hops, water, malt and yeast.
