One in a series of greetings cards designed by Caroline using inspiration from time spent living in Kobe, Japan. Taken from artwork created with hand carved stamps of iconic Japanese symbols.
While the leaves of the bamboo plant create a delicate swooshing sound in a soft breeze and a magical green atmosphere in the sunlight, the strong and mighty plant itself symbolises flexibility and prosperity. Many Japanese festivals use bamboo in the cuisine, crafts and constructions associated with them. When combined with pine and plum, this set of three plants represent long-life, resilience and vigour.
